Lectionary-Based Lenten Bible Study

Tuesday Mornings | 10:30–11:30am

February 24, March 3, 10, 17, and 24

Location: The Commons

Join us this Lent for a Tuesday morning Bible study focused on slowing down, listening deeply, and engaging Scripture together. Each week, Jillian and Pastor Keli will guide the group through a brief historical overview of the lectionary texts for the upcoming Sunday, followed by time for Lectio Divina and other prayerful meditations.

This study is designed to create space for reflection, conversation, and spiritual grounding as we journey through Lent together.

All are welcome — whether you are new to Bible study or seeking a quiet, reflective way to engage Scripture in community during this season.

We hope you’ll join us as we gather to pray, listen, and grow together this Lent.

Rise Against Hunger works in countries worldwide to fight hunger by providing volunteer-packaged meals

Our goal this year is to package 28,080 meals starting at 8:45am.

We need 120 volunteers and have a goal of raising $11,500 to cover the cost of the meals.

This is an excellent opportunity for all of us to engage in a multi-generational, hands-on, impactful event to benefit those across the globe in ‘food-challenged’ situations.  Neighbors, friends, and co-workers are all welcome to participate – a simple way to invite someone to church and let them see what an amazing place Tuckahoe can be for worshiping and serving God! Volunteers aged 4 and over are invited to attend.  If you have questions, reach out to Tom Adair or Jim McLeskey.

Childcare will be provided during the event for children under 4 years of age from 8:45 until 11:30 am. If you plan to utilize the childcare, please email Jillian, so that we have an accurate count.
