Advent Devotionals
November 30th marks the beginning of our Advent season. “Advent” means “coming” or “arrival.” During the season of Advent, we celebrate Christ’s coming into the world and actively watch and wait with expectant hope for his coming again. The Tuckahoe Presbyterian Church Christian Christian Formation Committee has assembled several different resources to help guide your spiritual journey through this holy season.
Join us for Advent Fair 2025 on Sunday, November 30, at 10:30am — a joyful morning of crafts, service projects, and fellowship as we begin the season of Advent together. Want all the details? Visit our full resource guide and event page here: https://www.tuckahoepres.org/event/advent-fair/
Book Study with Pastor Keli on Tuesdays, December 2nd, 9th, and 16th at 10:30am in The Commons
Join Pastor Keli this Advent as she leads a guided conversation through the book “Stay Awhile: Advent Lessons in Divine Hospitality.” Building off our yearlong theme of “Around the Table,” we will use Kara Eidson’s book to reflect on how we invite, plan, and prepare for welcoming others to our church, our home, and our lives.
We will meet on Tuesdays, December 2nd, 9th, and 16th at 10:30am in The Commons. Books will be provided for all participants, and we’ll offer hot tea at each session. Please register here by Sunday, November 23rd. There will be light suggested reading before our first session on December 2nd.
