ADVENT FAIR

Advent Fair 2025 | Sunday, November 30

Date: Sunday, November 30
Time: During worship ~11am we’ll shift from the Sanctuary to Duntreath
Location: Starting in the Sanctuary we will make our way to Duntreath Hall

Continue worshipping with us as we engage in a family-friendly event with crafts, service projects, and fellowship for all ages.

Here’s what to look forward to:

Advent Wreath Craft: Create a simple wreath with candles, scripture cards, and weekly devotionals for your family.

New! Hot Drink Recipe Contest: Try our favorite hot drinks and join the new Recipe Contest. Bring your best ready-to-serve drink and a written recipe before worship begins at 1030am. All ages are welcome to participate in the contest. Taste, vote by noon, and find out who wins right after.

Outreach Projects:
Help us spread Christmas cheer through acts of service:

Write notes and Christmas cards to our homebound members.

Send messages and invitations to families who attended VBS this summer.

Help us put together care packages for college students with small gifts and encouraging notes.

If you can, please donate items like Tide-to-Go pens, laundry pods, tea bags, candles, candy, tissues, or handwritten notes. To ensure safety and appropriateness, please avoid any homemade food items and consider donating allergy-friendly items where possible. Bring your donations to the collection table by 10:30 AM. We welcome all supplies, and any extras will go into more packages.

Chrismon Ornament Table: Learn about Chrismons and make your own ornament to share with family.

Poinsettia and Devotional Table: Pick up an Advent devotional and purchase a poinsettia in honor or memory of a loved one.

We need your help to make the Advent Fair a success!
Christian Formation Committee members will staff some stations, but we need more volunteers for setup, crafts, refreshments, and hospitality.

Parents are welcome to bring their children to volunteer with them, and there will be a designated area where kids can engage in supervised activities if needed. This way, the whole family can participate and enjoy the event together.

To help, contact Jillian Gatewood or Liz Creasman to sign up for your preferred role and shift.

Let’s come together to find joy, reflect, and connect as we get ready for the coming of Christ. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
