HENRICO THANKSGIVING BOXES

NOTE – if you are looking to receive a box – We provide the boxes to the Henrico Social Services department. 
They distribute to those signed up for assistance through the Henrico Social Services (TANF, SNAP, etc).

You can call Henrico Social Services at (804) 501-4001 and speak with your case worker to sign up for a Thanksgiving box.

It’s that time of year again for the Henrico Thanksgiving Food Box Project.  This project provides food for the Thanksgiving Holiday for families and individuals receiving services through the Henrico Department of Social Services.  Now more than ever we need your support.  Economic hardships have created greater food instability for many of our neighbors.  These food boxes provide a Thanksgiving meal that many would not be able to have otherwise.

ALL FOOD BOXES SHOULD FEED A FAMILY OF SIX.

NO FROZEN, FRESH OR PERISHABLE ITEMS PLEASE.

GIFT CARD FOR TURKEY OR HAM (ABOUT $20 – $25)

Suggested Items:

Canned Vegetables                Stuffing Mix                            Peanut Butter

Canned Soup                           Potatoes, Instant                    Jelly

Canned Fruit                           Macaroni and Cheese          Dessert Item

Canned Gravy                         Rolls                                            Gift Card

This is a great opportunity for your Committee, Group or Family.

Boxes do not have to be decorated.

Please drop off your groups’ box in the church library by Thursday, November 16.
